- 1 cup of Cooked chickpeas
- 2 cloves garlic peeled and chopped
- Several carrots
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 red peppers
- Pita bread
- 1tsp of Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of Olive oil
In a bowl-type container add the peeled and chopped garlic, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, olive oil and cooked chickpeas. Using a fork, crush the mixture until it’s pure (as smooth and creamy as possible.)
Wash the vegetables and cut them into thin strips, to go with the hummus. Before serving the dish add a little bit of paprika over the hummus and add the vegetables and pita bread on the side.
Feel free to add any type of veggie to add color to the dish; such as red pepper, celery, carrots etc.
