- Seed bread or any specialty bread
- Canned tuna
- Ripe tomato
- Lettuce, spinach or arugula
- Olive Oil
Depending on the chosen bread, you can choose toast it using some of the olive oil. Grate the tomato and add a little olive oil and a pinch of salt, as a simple sauce that will directly go on the bread. Leave apart some of the leaves for a salad along with some onion (and other veggies such as radishes or carrots) in a separate bowl with olive oil and mustard dressing that we will have prepared earlier. Place the salad over the open bread, lastly adding the well-drained tuna.
Try adding a boiled egg to your sandwich, or swap the tuna for sardines or mackerel. You can always add more color by using carrots, radishes or olives.
