HAPPI (Healthy Active Preschool Parents Initiative) is a community-based family program. This evidence-based program is  to reduce risk of childhood obesity among program participants by promoting healthy habits related with diet, physical activity, sleep and emotional well-being.

The HAPPI program is for children ages 0-3 and their parents and/or guardians. The families participate together in this program. The program is offered during the day or weekends on leisure time. It is a total of 10 sessions (8 family and 2 individual), 2 sessions a month. The sessions are 1.5 hours each and include classroom discussions and family activities.

HAPPI reduces the risk of childhood obesity by encouraging healthy habits from an early age. The program gives families the opportunity to promote healthy attitudes, values, behaviors and habits for the proper development of their children.
